Impulse is a 2D physics-based puzzle game for the PC and Xbox 360 that uses magnetism and impulse forces for movement. Level progression is based on traveling through a compartmentalized maze. Impulse was featured at the Penny Arcade Expo's PAX 10 contest in 2008 and was voted one of the top 10 independently developed games of 2008 by a panel of 50 industry experts.

Impulse was originally created by myself and 6 other students (Andrew Williams, Mike Thomas, Paul Solt, Joseph Plourde, Ben Solt, and Andrew Ray) during our tenure at RIT that worked as a team in a class called "Foundations of 2D Graphics". The official website is at

Planet Paluza

Planet Paluza was built by the same team that built Impulse plus one extra and was also for a college class at RIT, uniquely named "Foundations of 3D Graphics". The planet is your canvas in this game, and we give you a variety of tools to shape your world however you like it, or rather, however your pet monster likes it. The concept behind the game is to feed your pet "Frumpachunk" who grows increasingly hungry throughout your planet sculpting spree and expects a 4 star dinner after your finished. He'll grow increasingly impatient until you feed him what he desires.
